Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport will welcome visitors attending the Big Ten Conference basketball tournaments in March – both women’s and men’s.
The excitement starts Wed., March 6 when the women’s tournament kicks off. Many of the Big Ten teams (14 of them for each tournament) and their fans will pass through MSP on their way to the tournament at the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis. The women’s tournament wraps up on Sunday, March 10 with the championship game.
The men’s basketball teams will be at Target Center starting on Wed., March 13 and concluding Sunday, March 17, the day of the championship game.
Arts@MSP has special performances scheduled in Terminal 1 during the tournaments. Also, MSP Airport staff will be providing some surprise and delight opportunities as well. Look for them on the arrivals level at Terminal 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on March 6 and March 13.
