Three new concepts open at MSP

Two new restaurants and a shop that celebrates the "wonderfully unnecessary" recently opened at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport's Terminal 1-Lindbergh.

Qdoba, located near gate E7, serves up burritos, nachos and other Mexican favorites along with its signature queso. The restuarant is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Frivolous, Wonderfully Unnecessary also recently opened, bringing whimsy and premium gifts to the Airport Mall. The shop sells a variety of art, stationary, hand-crafted goods, cards, home goods, jewelry, toys, and much more. The gift shop is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Finally, Twins Grill on Concourse C opened late last week. The restaurant combines signature bar food with design elements that make its customers feel like they're dining at Target Field. Twins Grill is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

These three new openings are part of 50 new concepts coming to MSP through a massive renovation project, including updating the Ticketing and Bag Claim areas at Terminal 1, full remodels of nearly 100 sets of restrooms, four new gates at Terminal 2-Humphrey, a luxury airport hotel, and a new 5000-space parking ramp.
